Global Bridge Secondary School in the village of Ang Ta Phouk, Cambodia.
Located 2 hours from Phnom Penh it's the the first secondary school in the region.
Before the opening of the Global Bridge School, students had no access to education beyond the 6th grade.
Children from 5 provinces bike to school there everyday. There are currently 250 children enrolled in the 7th and 8th grade and 125 more will be admitted in October to the new class...which will make 375 kids between the 7th, 8th and 9th grade.
They now have 2 English teachers and when we go in June, 20 computers that have been donated. The Do-Gooders donated $1000 to start a sustainable vegetable garden which is intended to supply food for the kids lunches everyday. They already have a rice field, and so between the two we are hoping to keep the kids fed.
